Anne M. (Peguesse) Kendig

Anne Marie (Peguesse) Kendig, 81, of Lititz, passed away with family by her side on November 24, 2012 at Lancaster General Hospital. She was born Saturday, June 27, 1931 to the late James W. and Anne M. (Burke) Peguesse. She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years, John F. Kendig.

Anne was born in Philadelphia, and raised on the campus of the Coatesville Veterans Medical Center in Caln Township. She was a graduate of St. Cecilia and St. Agnes High of West Chester and attended the University of Maryland, Rockville MD Campus. Anne pursued a lifetime of employment in telecommunications and banking industries until retirement in January 1999. She lived a memorable life with her family in many geographical localities with her husband. She resided at Moravian Manor Retirement Community with her husband, and attended St. James Catholic Church in Lititz.

She is survived by 3 sisters, Catherine Ann Ridgeway, Joan Mary Petrosky, Margaretta Virginia Sullivan; 2 children, Patricia Anne Eldred and husband Wesley, John W. Kendig and wife Laurie; 3 grandchildren, Jennifer Lauren Eldred of Burlington, VT, Amanda Paige Kendig and John Albert Kendig, II of Plano, TX.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church in Lititz with interment to follow in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Moravian Manor Retirement Community, 300 Lemon St., Lititz, PA 17543.
