Anne Lynn Burkhart

Anne L. Burkhart, of Elizabethtown, PA, loving wife of Roger, passed away on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. She was predeceased by her parents, Charles and Mary (Penyak) McLaughlin.

In addition to her husband Roger, she is survived by a brother, Charles McLaughlin; children, Amy Davis (John), Katherine (Joe) and Matthew (Nicole); and grandchildren, Victoria (Justin), Sienna, Andrew and James.

Anne graduated from Mt. St. Agnes College. After stints with banking and social work, she found her true career working alongside of her husband for 29 years at Reimers Electra Steam, Inc.

Anne was very proud of being selected as first Director of Catholic Community Services in Eastern West Virginia and of serving on the Board to convert King Daughter’s Hospital (Martinsburg) to senior living apartments.

She loved to help people. Anne was devoted to her family and friends.

A Mass of Christian of Burial will be held on Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Historic St. Peter Catholic Church, 127 South Cherry Alley, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 at 9:00 AM. Viewing will be from 8:00 AM until the time of service. Interment will take place at the convenience of the family.
