Alma (Grove) Finfrock

Alma (Grove) Finfrock, 82, of Palmyra, PA passed away at home on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.  She was born November 19, 1934 in York, PA to the late Marvin and Mabel (Hovis) Grove.  She was predeceased by her loving husband, Ivan R. Finfrock, Jr.

She was a graduate of Albright College where she was an exceptional student-athlete and a homecoming queen.  Alma was an amazing home cook, an avid card player, and a sharp dresser.  Most importantly Alma was a devoted wife and a loving mother and grandmother.

Alma is survived by 3 children, Valerie Mittl and husband Bob of Charlotte NC, Bradley Finfrock and wife Jill of Sterling, VA , and Debbie Dalton and husband Jim of Warrenton, VA; 9 grandchildren, Greg, Brian, and Carrie Mittl, Samantha, Rachel, and Kurt Finfrock, and Abbie, Jed, and Trevor Dalton; as well as her excellent caregiver, Nancy Conley-Smith.  She was predeceased by her brother Marvin Grove, Jr.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at 2 PM at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Buchanan Trail West, Route 16, Greencastle, PA 17225.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc.
