Alice May (Reed) Kitner, 82, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 27, 2018 in Harrisburg. She was born Thursday December 5, 1935 in Carney’s Point New Jersey to the late Claire Reed and Verna Allen. She was predeceased by her loving husband of 60 years Martin L. Kitner
Alice was an avid homemaker. She enjoyed keeping her hands busy crocheting, making many special items for her family. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and aunt.
She is survived by her grandson Bryan Furlan and wife Donna; a daughter, Sharon Maloney and husband Marty; 2 siblings, Marion Parr and Millard “Bill” Ainsworth; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by 3 siblings, Jim and Vernon Ainsworth and Mildred Keller.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, April 2, 2018 at 10 AM at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens, 4855 Londonderry Rd., Harrisburg 17109. Arrangements have been entrusted to Fager-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 208 N. Union St., Middletown 17057.
