Alice R. Heisey

Alice Ruth (Treist) Glass Heisey, 94, of Elizabethtown, passed away in The Lebanon Valley Home, Annville on Sunday, July 21, 2013. She was born Saturday, August 31, 1918 in Deodate to the late Harry Y. and Mary B. (Lehman) Treist. She was predeceased by her loving husband Norman Z. Heisey.

Alice enjoyed working with her hands, she found leisure in crocheting and in her younger years quilting. She had a keen sense of hospitality, Sunday dinners were always prepared for the whole family to enjoy and Christmas Eve was celebrated with a grand party. Most importantly she was a loving family woman.

She is survived by 6 children, Sandra Morris, Andre Glass, Fernanda Snader, Jon Glass, Angela Banzhof, and Jill Nye; and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her husband she was predeceased by 4 children, Shirley Geadrities, Ferdinand Glass, Michael Glass, and Mary Cain.

Services will be private and at the convenience of the family. Burial will take place in Hershey Cemetery, Hershey. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Sekely Funeral Home & Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
