Alfred “Dan” Luzier, 72, of Clearfield, went to be with the Lord on October 21, 2024 at the VA Hospital, Lebanon. Dan was born on November 21, 1951 to the late Alfred John and Sara J. (Jordan) Luzier.
He was a member of the Kerr United Methodist Church. Dan was a 1969 graduate of Clearfield High School, and honorably discharged from the U.S Air Force. He was not only a contractor, but he was employed by R.T. Merryman Trucking and Fed Ex as a truckdriver.
Dan is survived by his son, Anton and his wife Karen; two grandchildren, Jack and Lois who he adored; and his companion Fonda Dixon. Also surviving is his sister, Jane Dixon; two brothers William “Bill” Luzier and wife Linda, Tom Luzier and wife Colleen; three sister-in-laws, Jolene Luzier, Carol Luzier, and Marilyn Luzier; brother-in-law Richard Gingras; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his brothers, Sheridan, John, and Dennis and sisters, Ann Luzier and Nancy Gingras.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, November 19, 2024 at 11 AM at the Kerr Addition United Methodist Church, 117 Mapes Ave., Clearfield, PA. Burial will follow at the Old Bradford Church Cemetery, Woodland.
Family requests memorial contributions be made to the Kerr United Methodist Church.
