Aaron L. Grubb, 91, of Annville, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, December 4, 2012 at Columbia Cottage in Campbelltown. He was born Friday, June 3, 1921 in Londonderry Twp., to the late Simon H. and Lillie W. (Lesher) Grubb. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Betty J. (Holbein) Grubb, in 2008.

Aaron had a passion for reading books on nutrition and various newspapers. He enjoyed clipping articles about health and wellness from the newspapers. He dedicated his life to his work as a dairy farmer, owning and operating his own farm for over 50 years. Aaron had a loyalty to Oliver tractors and to Nash Rambler cars. He was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather.

He is survived by a daughter, Verna M. Struphar and husband Gary A.; 3 grandchildren, Sundra Fake, Corey Struphar and wife Susan, Michelle Quino and husband Michael; 5 great grandchildren, Christopher and Brandon Fake, Matthew and Aaron Struphar and Hannah Quino. In addition to his wife, he is predeceased by a son, Clair R. Grubb.

Family and friends are invited for viewing on Thursday, December 6th from 7-9 PM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078. Funeral Services will be held Friday, December 7th at 2 PM, at the funeral home, with Pastor Nelson Martin officiating, with viewing from 1 PM until time of the service. Burial will follow in Shenk’s Community Church Cemetery, Elizabethtown.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in his honor to Masonic Village Hospice, 1 Masonic Dr., Elizabethtown, PA 17022.
