STANLEY T. HOLLINGER

Stanley T. Hollinger, 92, of Mount Gretna, passed away peacefully at
Life Care Hospital, Mechanicsburg, PA, on Monday, February 25, 2013.

Stanley was born on August 9, 1920 in Highspire, PA to the late Blaine
& Sarah (Trostle) Hollinger.  He graduated from the former Highspire
High School and had attended Indiana College of Technology in Fort
Wayne, IN.

He was a United States Army Air Corps veteran of WWII.  After the war,
Stanley worked for Olmsted Air Force Base in Middletown, PA. Later he
worked for and retired from the Navy Supply Depot in Mechanicsburg,
PA, serving as an equipment specialist.

Stanley was an active member of Mount Gretna United Methodist Church,
volunteering as the prayer chain coordinator.  He was active in the
Mt. Gretna Bible Festival serving on the program committee and was a
former board member of the Mt. Gretna Camp Meeting Assoc.

He was a 70-year member of Prince Edwin Spring Creek Lodge #486 F&AM,
a member of the Harrisburg Consistory, Zembo Shrine, Zembo Luncheon
Club, Hershey Shrine Club, Lebanon County Shrine Club, and a life
member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon Harrisburg Forest #43.

He enjoyed computers, playing cards, fishing, the Philadelphia
Phillies and he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Surviving are his wife of 53 years Edith S. Hollinger, his two
daughters Donna L. Hollinger of Iowa City, Iowa, Bonita K. Martin and
her husband Kenton of Pottsville, and his granddaughter Miranda H.
Martin of Pottsville.

A celebration of life service will be held at 3pm on Monday, March 4,
2013 in the Mt. Gretna United Methodist Church, Fourth & Boehm Avenues
Mt. Gretna, PA, with a Masonic service preceding the life celebration
service. The family will greet relatives and friends immediately
following the service at a reception in the church social hall.
