Ramdai "Sheila" Surujpaul

Ramdai “Sheila” Surujpaul, 70, of Ephrata, passed away on Wednesday, August 1, 2018 at Hershey Medical Center surrounded by her family. She was born in Guyana, South America, to the late Ramphalie and Sancharie Ramkhelawan.

She will be remembered as a woman who left a legacy, an angel who lived among us. Sheila was the queen of hospitality, the ultimate caregiver, and a mother to many.

She will be lovingly missed by her husband of 50 years, Surujnauth Surujpaul and their four children:  Fiona Pyszka (Doug), Grace Itwaru (Shamgar), Ronald Surujpaul & Natasha Mahabir (Andrew), four grandchildren, six siblings, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

On Saturday, August 4, 2018, a viewing will be held from 9:30-10:30, and the funeral service will begin at 10:30am at Victory Christian Fellowship, 695 E. Ridge Rd., Palmyra, PA 17078, with her son-in-law Pastor Douglas J. Pyszka officiating. Burial will follow at Gravel Hill Cemetery.
