Patricia A. (Hicksenheiser) Vines

Patricia Ann (Hicksenheiser) Vines, 56, of Palmyra, passed away with family by her side on Sunday, April 17, 2016 in The Good Samaritan Hospital.  She was born Wednesday, October 7, 1959 in Hershey to the late Ammon and Eva (Albert) Hicksenheiser.

Patricia was employed at the AAFES at Fort Indiantown Gap.  She was active in church activities at Trinity United Church of Christ, participating in the prayer shawl ministry and volunteering at the holiday bazar and other functions at the church.  She was skilled in arts and crafts and enjoyed crocheting.  Patricia loved to bowl and was an avid Philadelphia Phillies and Flyers fan.  Most importantly she was a loving mother and sister.

She is survived by her 2 sons, Shaun and Tim Turasky; 3 siblings, Ernie Hicksenheiser and wife Brenda, Larry Hicksenheiser and wife Geraldine, and Sidney Herr and husband Herman; 2 nieces, Wendy Peters and Lori Cassel; and a nephew, Tyler Hicksenheiser.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday, April 21, 2016 at 10 AM at Trinity United Church of Christ, 40 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078 with The Rev. Julia A. Beall officiating.  Burial will follow in Zion Cemetery, Grantville.  Family and friends are invited for viewing on Wednesday, April 20th from 6-8 PM at Rothermel-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra 17078 and on Thursday (4/21) at the church from 9 AM until time of the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the cancer research association of your choice.
