Marie C. (Connolly) Ballezzi

Marie C. Ballezzi, 77, of Elizabethtown, formerly of Lancaster, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2023 at Masonic Village, Elizabethtown. Born Thursday, July 26, 1945 in Philadelphia, she was the daughter of the late Helen (O’Connor) and Gerard A. Connolly, Sr. She was married over 20 years to James Ballezzi who preceded her in death.
She and James lived in Ocean Pines, MD, where she enjoyed the beach, springtime and planting flowers. Marie adored her husband and their regular Sunday morning dances to Frank Sinatra music. She loved animals and spending quality time with family and friends.
Marie is survived by a daughter Jackie C. Niemiec (Jackie); a son John Niemiec (Denise); and two sisters: Joanne Devlin Raczkowski (Ted) and Aliceanne Linderman (Jim). She was predeceased by a brother Gerard A. Connolly, Jr., (Marian).
A viewing will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home, 130 North Market Street, Elizabethtown, PA 17022 from 5:00-7:00 PM. Interment will be private.
