Lloyd John Fasnacht, 91, of Palmyra, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 29, 2013 at Countryside Christian Community, Annville. He was born Saturday, June 18, 1921 in Lebanon to the late Ammon and Phoebe (Ebersole) Fasnacht. He was predeceased by his loving wife Kathleen (Garverich) Fasnacht.

Lloyd was employed by Hershey Foods as an Electrician and was a member of the BCTGM Local 464 Chocolate Workers Union. He was a proud member of the NRA and a member of the Palmyra Sportsmen’s Club, where he enjoyed shooting bow and arrow. Lloyd was an outdoorsman, he enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing. Most importantly he was a loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He is survived by a son, Lloyd “John” Fasnacht, Jr. and wife Elizabeth Ann “Betsy”; a grandson, Matthew Jon Fasnacht and wife Denise; 3 grandchildren, David, Daniel, and Rebecca Fasnacht; and a brother, Paul Fasnacht. In addition to his wife he is predeceased by a grandson, Chad Fasnacht; and a brother Ralph Fasnacht.

Private graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra, with Rev. Roy Dice officiating. Arrangements have been entrusted to Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 W. Pine St., Palmyra, PA 17078.
