Dylan Z. Holt
November 19, 1991 — December 13, 2014
He graduated from Palmyra Area High School in 2010, was studying criminal justice at HACC, worked for Lancaster County-Wide Communications as a 911 Telecommunicator and was actively serving as a firefighter for Citizens Fire Company #1, Palmyra, Friendship Fire & Hose Company #74, Elizabethtown, and Chemical Fire Company Squad #22 of Lebanon. He was happy, fun loving, and a jokester who will be missed by many.
He is survived by his mother, Melanie A. (Rhen) Roberts and husband Justin of Palmyra; his father, Scott A. Holt of MD; a sister, Morgan A. Roberts; maternal grandmother, Linda Focht and husband Darryl of Annville; maternal grandfather, Thomas Rhen of Lebanon; paternal grandmother, Susan Uffner of Myerstown; paternal grandfather, Herbert Gebhard of Palmyra; numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins. He is also survived by his brotherhood of fire service professionals.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 20th at 11:00 AM at Rothermel Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Inc., 25 West Pine Street, Palmyra, PA 17078. Burial with full fire service honors will follow in Gravel Hill Cemetery, Palmyra. Family and friends are invited for viewing on Friday, December 19th from 6 to 9 PM and Saturday from 9 AM until time of the service.
