Damon Loveless

February 13, 1925 — August 30, 2021

Damon Nixon Loveless, 96, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 30, 2021 surrounded by his family.  He was born Friday, February 13, 1925 to the late Damon Kitchen and Edith Victoria (Turner) Loveless.  He is survived by his loving wife Dorothy (Kenifick) Loveless.

Some thought he was antisocial, he wasn’t.  He had a funny sense of humor that some did not understand.  Those that knew him listened to his advice, and most gladly followed it.  All knew they could count on him, and that he would do all he could to help them.  In his 96 years, he grew up during the Great Depression.  He joined the Army, before graduating High School, fighting in WWII under General Patton.  He started a business, changed professions several times, while raising three kids.  He earned his pilots license at 70 years old, and enjoyed flying.

He is survived in addition to his wife of almost 74 years;  daughter (Catherine) and husband, son (Dennis) and wife; 4 grandsons; 4 granddaughters and 15 great-grandchildren.

Services have been entrusted to the Fager-Finkenbinder Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc., 208 N. Union St., Middletown, PA 17057
