Anna E. (Pruitt) Kern

Anna E. (Pruitt) Kern, 96, of Hershey, formerly of Gettysburg, passed away on Saturday, Auguts 28, 2021 at Country Meadows of Hershey. Born Monday, March 23, 1925 in Washington D.C., she was the daughter of the late Earl B. and Amelia (Cook) Pruitt. She was married 44 years to Raymond W. Kern, Sr. who passed away in 1989.
Anna is survived by a daughter Joanne M. Artman and husband Steve of Middletown; a brother Raymond W. Kern, Jr. of Heathsville, VA; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother Earl Pruitt.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Evergreen Cemetery, 799 Baltimore Street, Gettysburg, PA 17325. A celebration of Anna’s life will be announced at a later date.
